Just the thought of a bulky, goopy dental impression is enough to bring anxiety to some patients. At River Towne Dental, we have taken another step towards our ‘patient first’ philosophy and will soon provide our patients with a virtual dental scanner. This technology gives us the ability to digitally capture the impressions required for many dental procedures, eliminating the use of traditional dental molds. Not only is this much more comfortable (and better tasting), but it instantly provides both our dental team and patient an instant magnified ‘impression’ on a screen empowering them to better understand the treatment they are receiving.
